About the couple

Introduced through a mutual friend, Nathan and Mitchell met at the Portland Waterfront Pride fest while Mitchell worked one of the booths.

They made plans to see each other after the festivities and had their first date on June 26, 2009 at Bamboo Sushi in SE Portland.

We’re excited to celebrate with you with a simple, tasteful courthouse wedding on the Willamette river.

We’ve spent the last 17 years growing together in Portland, gathering friends, supporting family, and chasing our passions.
